I'm SURE I'm not the first person to say this...but I'd love to see Eisley with Fleet Foxes. They have similarities in their music and lyrics, but are different enough to be an interesting pair. _________________ Delmar O'Donnell: Oh, George... not the livestock. |

I think I agree with Rilo Kiley and Tegan & Sara, but I don't know about some of these other choices....Blonde Redhead, Fleet Foxes, etc. I like those bands a lot, but fans of those bands tend to have tastes a little more left of center. Eisley would probably be more well received touring with bands of the Coldplay, Snow Patrol, or Keane variety. Touring with MuteMath in '07 was a good choice despite the fact that MM tend to upstage anyone they play with because of the energy in their live shows. I'm not big into Switchfoot, but that tour made sense as well. Actually, any melodic modern pop band that has a more thoughtful spiritual component to their music would work since Eisley kind of has that as well. There's also Dido...who isn't nearly as interesting to me as she was 9 years ago, but she is putting out a new record at the end of the year...I could see her fan base being open to Eisley. There might be a new Sixpence None the Richer record coming out in 2009, so they'll probably tour as well. Eisley's audience might be a tad larger than Sixpence's as of now, but I can easily see Sixpence fans being wowed by Eisley's music. I'm only vaguely familiar with Copeland and Lovedrug. I was planning on getting the latter band's new CD from emusic this month. From what I remember of those bands, they might work as well. |

But all those bands you mentioned are mainstream bands, and I know I can't be the only one who doesn't like them. (And not just because they're mainstream, because they're uncreative and boring) I would personally be very disappointed if they played with a non-indie band. _________________ check out my art blog! |

She's not terrible in the studio. They got all these computers and things to make people sound good. Paris Hilton even made a record. _________________ patrock wrote: Grandma: What are you thankful for?
