I was reading The Maine's MySpace blog about their new Christmas EP and I saw this in the track listing. "...And A Happy New Year" 1. Ho Ho Hopefully (Featuring backing vocals by Eisley) 2. Santa Stole My Girlfriend 3. Mr. Winter 4. Last Christmas (originally by Wham!) Quiet an odd mix, but I'm excited. _________________ - Megan |

Oh that's interesting. I'm sure it'll be very cool. This past Halloween, I flew down to San Diego to hang out with my sister and we'd gotten tickets to see Jack's Mannequin that night and as we were walking to the venue I saw The Maine walking towards us and like the weird fan girl that I am I yelled in their face "You're The Maine!" They kinda looked at me funny for a second because I kinda ambushed them, haha, but I got a picture and it was all good. Nice fellows those guys. _________________ Boyd wrote: That's not rock and roll... that's just gross. |

At least they're not thinking that they're famous hip hop like All Time Low. _________________ patrock wrote: Grandma: What are you thankful for?

That's the wrong track listing. Lights was supposed to be on Ho Ho Hopefully, but now it's Eisley. _________________ - Megan |

Love love love them. Definitely not breaking any new ground, but so fun. I just saw them live on Monday and everyone was super impressed by how on-point they were live especially as compared to the band that played after them (Mayday Parade) who sounded terrible. _________________ "I ask none to live for me, nor do I live for any others. I like the Maine, minus some of their more colorful lyrics. LOL I thought they were pretty good live. I saw them at Warped Tour. I like listening to Christmas music about Christ (the other is o.k. as well as long as there's a mix) so I'll have to think about whether or not to pick it up. Maybe I'll listen first. It seems like 3/4 of the bands out there have a Christmas cd now. It's almost to the crazy point. LOL Oh, Lights was pretty good live. I just saw her hope for Copeland on Nov. 3. It was the first time I've heard her. |
