I was amazed when my professor told us he had never seen a cow until he moved to my town. never crossed my mind that some people have never seen one.
then i thought about what animal I've never seen that millions of people live with every day.
and i have never seen a moose... or a farret (illegal in CA)
however, this is not as surprising to me as never seeing a cow...
anyone out there deprived of the cow world?
i mean, i've never seen a wild tiger either, but i've seen them at the zoo....
i'm talking, no zoo sightings, no tv sightings, just live cow in a field.

I've been in a vehicle that hit a cow! Laughing
and I've seen many cows in many fields as well.

What kind of lame zoo has cows? Laughing

There are cows all over the place here, and about once or twice a summer there would be some moose who made his way far enough south and he'd stop and eat pears off one of the trees in our back yard. Those are big friggen animals.

I would be more impressed by someone who has seen an undomesticated cow than someone who has never seen a cow before.

because it was an awful experience that I will always remember from my childhood, and now in hind-sight I can laugh at it.
or maybe I can't, since it's "sick." Confused Question Hey, if you must, blame the farmer that didn't want to put up any fence. Wink

Lot's of cows here. I've seen them giving birth and all kinds of stuff.

The funniest thing I've ever seen was a few springs ago after all the calves were born. There were 2 that were fighting and butting heads while all the others, about 15 or so were standing around them in a circle! It was so awesome haha. Just like a schoolyard brawl. Laughing

I agree. I don't think I've seen a cow that was actually officially wild.

I've seen cows in pastures that are miles long out in Montana (that you might confuse otherwise as wild), but that's as close as I've gotten.
