Yeah, joking... read the fine print, too lazy to type my own. If you laughed, even a little, it was worth being taken seriously. I wouldn't be joking if I said I have never been a fan of NFG though, but I didn't say that. Wink

So I guess Max doesn't have any kind of blog or anything where he communicates to the public online?

It would be interesting to know more about the guy who won Sherri's heart.

I guess they could be married now?

There is a pretty interesting interview with him on youtube:

That's where it starts.

I'm talking about current times.
That's dated before they even knew each other.

His music pretty much communicates everything you could ever want to know about the guy, but I guess what's mostly available is pre-Sherri. There are interviews here and there, otherwise I don't think there's too much of a direct line.

I must admit I was not always a Say Anything fan--I wrote them off as another stupid scenester band--but then I discovered that Max is incredibly talented and incredibly honest, so that's pretty much the difference between him and that other dude. Wink

Recent interview:

"I think enough sht is said about sites like AbsolutePunk.net. You know what I mean? There's enough sht talk--young kids, and the music they like, and it being trendy and all that stuff. But I don't think there's any retaliation toward the people who are old and jaded and feel slighted, because they are equally annoying, you know? [Laughs.] I have my issues with everything, and all genres of people or classifications of people, so I don't think that I'm better than the people on that list or anything like that. I have a problem when any group of people get away with actually thinking they are better than any other group of people..."

"...I've actually come to see that there are a lot of people that are sort of in their later 20s on Punknews.org as well, and that--just a few years in the age gap--makes a big difference in terms of whether someone is ashamed to like Saves The Day or ashamed to like the Get Up Kids, and they're obsessed with Hot Water Music or somebody. You know what I mean? Those age gaps are what make the difference in terms of elitism. Obviously, I choose not to follow any of those senses of elitism. If anything, that's one of my strengths. I have many weaknesses, but one of my strengths is that I choose to eliminate most pretenses from my life--pretension about music, especially, where I can. I'm a big fan of many indie-rock bands that are seriously hardcore indie rock, and [then I'll say] I'm a fan of the Killers. I have no qualms about it."
