Well, as exhibit A: we have Smarter so if the collaboration proper starts there I'm cool. Now, it could also go a Swell Season type direction, who knows? But using Smarter as a barometer, I'm more than willing to see what an album of that kind of chemistry could lead. _________________ yup, that's my name. Oh, you can hate on it all you want, but did you see THIS coming from said band??? It could happen... And for the record... I don't like that song at all, at all, at all, at all, at all... But therein lies an example of how a VERY annoying vocalist and abrasive band can change gears unexpectedly and successfully. I personally think Max has a better voice than that, so who knows? Now let's just say love inspires that kind of dramatic change... now couple in Sherri's skills and gifts, and BOOM, you could get THIS!!! (oh and thank me later for reposting this link, file under: Lest Ye Forget...)

I honestly feel like the Interlude Sherri did on the Two Tongues album was one of the best things she's done in a while, so I can see this ending up alright. _________________ EvilSpace |

If this project goes in that direction, then...whoo for them! (really) Not liking the idea of a Glen+ Marketa-esque "both do vocals" thing. But Max is a very talented musician and writer, in my opinion. |

Max just announced on twitter that it is indeed happening, and the name of the band is "Perma": http://twitter.com/maxbemis (Bottom to top) # clarifying : Perma=name of Sherri and I's new band. CD single= sold exclusively on this tour each with one of a kind hand drawn cover art.9 minutes ago from web # with a one of a kind drawing as the album art for each one. Yup, each artwork will be one of a kind and hand drawn by sherri and i.14 minutes ago from web # we're going to sell the very first single from our new band Perma. You'll be able to get the first two Perma demos on a signed cd14 minutes ago from web # okay so update: what was once just an art project between me and sherri being sold on this tour has turned into something way cooler: _________________ |
