 Post subject: Eisley goes mobile - this is for you iphone/ipod touch usersPosted: Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:00 am 
This hasn't officially launched yet, in that, this is the first mention of it you'll find anywhere, but we've got a new mobile version of eisley.com up for mobile (iphone/ipod touch/android) users. You can access it by going to eisley.com on your mobile device, or eisley.com/m/ on your computer. Let me know what you think before we show it off to the world! Many thanks to our friend Jordan Black developing this.

Looks good, looks good. Loads much faster and more efficiently than the full site does on the iPhone. I'll be bookmarking this mobile site! |

one thing i thought was really cool was how Absolute Punk made their forums mobile compatible, so they were very easy to navigate via phone. it's not a website i frequent, but i did read about the Eisley drama there the other week. 
LC is pretty difficult via my phone - way difficult before i realized i could navigate L - R - Up - Down with my number keys. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

Yeah, the app looks good, and of course this puts the onus on the band and management to provide dynamic content, or an increase in the frequency of updates with streaming video or audio, *hint* *hint* *nudge* *nudge* _________________ yup, that's my name. AWESOME, I LOVE IT!!! When I click on videos it opens them up in the YouTube App, which proceeds to give a "Could Not Load Movie" error. Otherwise I really love it, great job! _________________ |

Looks great! I was going to get miffed that the LC wasn't included on the Social page, but then I wonder how unwieldy it might be to reformat this beast for phones ...
