By request, here is my "courtesy of EVR" thread As Boyd mentioned, it has been an "Eisley day" today. The CDs, vinyl, lithos, and posters arrived -- all looking absolutely beautiful! It was like Christmas morning, getting to open all of these boxes. I heard Laura (new media) checking out the new ringtones ("Smarter" and "Ambulance") for approval too. Will add info on how you can get those ASAP. The band has a bunch of radio visits in the works. So far, they've played acoustic in-studio at WYMS in Milwaukee and WYCE in Grand Rapids. Also, phone interview at WUWM in Milwaukee. We are supposed to be getting audio from all of the stations and I'll post here for those of you who may have missed some of them. Tomorrow (Feb 9th) they'll be playing a CIDR "River Session" before their show at the Crofoot. It wont be live on-air but the station will add audio files to their website later on. Fans in the area can attend this River Session at Goodnite GracieĀ (224 South Sherman, Royal Oak, MI) at 5pm. The first 50 people in the door will receive a signed poster. Wednesday, Feb 16th the band will be on WERS in Boston, MA at 3pm EST playing 2 acoustic songs & chatting about their show that night at the Middle East in Cambridge. The EVR/MerchNow crew will be in attendance of this show - very much looking forward to it. This is also when we'll be having the band sign all of those litho's you have been pre-ordering. Speaking of pre-orders... the vinyl and lithos are going FAST! There will be a limited number of vinyl available at retail and with the band on the road but I think we've only got about 150 or 200 left on the webstore. The litho, I know there were only 50 left as of a week ago, so even less now. More soon. For now, I must return to my ever-growing inbox |

Just so you'll know, Francesca is a cool person and a friend. She's like...25? 28? 23? 53? i dunno... the band's age; just like me. She's a peer, a fan and is amazing at what she does. I'm not sucking up. No need. fyi - She was at the BrewTones show recently if any of u guys were there - and stayed with us during the weekend, blah, blah. Anyway, she's great with details and knows stuff. We appreciate her and also think it's awesome to have her fielding questions here, there and everywhere. She's not the man. How could she be? Like you, I can't wait to get vinyl in my hot hands. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Also, from this point on we're going to grab the radio performances and post ourselves. Nicholas Osbourne, parter in web-geek crime, grabbed today's - or part of it... most of it. We'll get that up. Do you guys want us to start posting more content in here? - or are you cool with getting it on fb and just yacking about it in here. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. because: 1. this thread exists, per my suggestion 2. it does at a time when it will create a little synergy amongst the "Laugh Staff" as I'm gonna start calling us. 3. it really feels like Eisley is "Making it" on their terms, which is the Only way to really make it, with the support of people who Enjoy them. _________________ yup, that's my name. Come on March 1st, get here!!!! Umm, SERIOUSLY. EVR, you guys freaking rock. Excuse our infatuation with what you guys probably feel is a normal thing to do for your bands, but we've been through some abusive years... |
