I like this one. Me too. It's like Sherri and Chauntelle have laser cannons on their shoulders and Stacy is playing a Rhodes made of lava! _________________ |

Chauntelle had me wooing all night! She was playing so differently, very confident. Just completely melting everyone's faces! Haha. i think i've seen them about 10 times as well and i totally agree w/ you. chauntelle kicked major ass at this show. i don't know if they just had her guitar up and at an appropriate level or what, but she sounded incredible. (sorry, don't know the terminology/tech stuff.) i've never seen them rock as hard as they did saturday nite. it was amazing too see. such a great, great show! |

Looking at pictures of the pretty lights is just painful. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Totally agree on Chauntelle! I always thought she was a secret weapon, but being up close and seeing her kick it and how much she seemed to be into her playing and singing was "a sight to behold". I don't have a bunch of Eisley shows under my belt (this was only my 2nd), but this was much more rocking than what I saw and heard in November, though I might have sacrificed a few of the valley songs for some of their older and less played songs. For example, I can't explain why, but I'm currently enamored with "I Feel Good", though I'm sure that'll pass soon enough and I'll find a new song to fixate on... |

part of what makes a show good is material that allows you to keep your momentum and continuity without getting too disjointed on one extreme, or redundant on the other. I think this tour really rolled because the Valley gave the enough material to fill the gaps between their hardest and mellowest songs. And yeah, this my second time seeing them, and the Combinations tour and this one were great. I think having just been out on the road with Rooney was a benefit for them being prepped to rock it this go around too. _________________ yup, that's my name. I saw those videos yesterday, they're great. That's the first performance of "I Wish" that sounds good to me (Stacy finally gettin' up high on the first round of "Ooo aaa ooo I wish") but maybe it just doesn't translate in video? Looks like Dallas was a great show...I can't wait for the fall headlining tour they mentioned on Facebook. |
