I don't know how filthy you let yourself get between showers, but baths are pretty much the best.

If you're already clean a bath is fine.
If you shower after your bath a bath is fine.
But if you've just worked out or you've been sweating all day and you ONLY take a bath it's pretty gross.

Yep. Wash yourself in the shower, then bathe.

Aaaahhh there the zany lc i remember from a few months ago Laughing

I'm pragmatic:

Wash hair first, i'm taller than the shower head so it dries mostly while i shower.

I'm with everyone who likes that steamy residual heat, and i have a sliding door vs. Curtains, so it's a little booth.

I do a shimmy then if i remembered to use the towel rack near the tub i slide the door real quick and grab it and shut it back & dry off. When i let my hair grow out i blot dry it with a towel in the midst of getting dressed. If it's cold out i try and wash my hair with enoufh time for it to air dry before i get out in the air. The perks of short "ethnic" hair as the small town folks called it when the told us we had to go elsewhere cause they didn't cut it.

@uncreative I am in agreement with your edit. I do basically the same thing. I've noticed that I have a routine for the shower. Wash body first, hair second and face third. Rinse all the soap off. I don't know why I do it that way, but it's the fastest method I've found so far.

I will sometimes stay in the shower and dry off. I mostly stay in there and dry the upper half and then dry my feet and get out and finish. I do love these types of topics. I've missed them dearly.

Doesn't anyone else have a robe? It's like an autodry for the body, keeps you warm, and you're ready to play host in case an orgy showed up in your living room while you were taking the shower.

Robe - yup, I got one, but not for drying off. It's for those lazy days where I know I'm not going anywhere so house shoes shorts and an undershirt are the most thought I'm willing to put into getting dressed, but it's too cool in the house to get away with that alone. I guess I should buy some pajamas?

I picked "other" because I start off inside the shower with my legs and then I go outside the shower and dry off the rest of my upper body.

top to bottom is the only logical way to dry yourself

"Other," I start in the shower, do about down to my waist, and then I step out and finish.

Baths can be nice and relaxing, but I always take a shower right afterwards.

Hey, this is a good topic to ask a related question -
What do you do with the towel you dry off with?
Do you dry off with a towel once and put it in the dirty clothes?
Do you let it dry and then put it in the dirty clothes?
Do you let it dry and reuse it multiple times?
Etc? You see where I'm going.
If you had a family of 5 who all took showers daily and used a towel once that would be 35 towels to wash per week. Just curious what other people do. Ha.

I live alone, and I typically use a towel two or three times. Then I grab another one from the pile.

I use the same towel a few times and let it dry one last time on the hook before putting it in the hamper.

I shake off whatever bit of excess water will easily do so first, then grab a towel and partially dry off in the shower, then step out and finish drying.
