Man, the performance is outstanding! The video is...rotten. Was it the camerman's first day on the job? Or first day using a camera at all? Shaky handheld, constantly going in & out of focus, everything in closeup so you can't really see the big picture. It's not arty, instead it just looks sloppy - most of the amateur concert vids I see these days are 10x better than this. Did anyone else get pissed off that the entirety of that video, from the cinematography to the title screens, was a direct ripoff of La Blogotheque's Takeaway Shows? Leave it to MTV to take an original and distinct idea and disembowel it for their own gain. Heh. Like How punked was just candid camera? I can forgive em' for jackin' the style, if only they could do a better job of it. THe voyueristic aspect of it all (the über close-ups) just ain't my style.
