Rewatched the interview footage and they said it had never been recorded and only they would know it was an old song. Oh, and it's one of Stacy's.

The running joke withy my bandmates is that our songs are new to everybody cause we've never put anything out officially after all these years, so that's so true. You tossed out a quasi-spoiler Laughing the key is getting a timeless version. Woodshedding can be good for a song, or not so much (Laughing City version of Telescope Eyes is my favorite for example, though I get why people dug the early EP versions, even more heart wrenching).

Nope. I just need to record the intro when I can get some free studio time, add it to the mix, render, then upload. You'll be the first to know... if you read the post before anyone else, that is.

it's kinda a shame to see that it doesn't seem the actual rhodes will be on the album, but the nord does have good piano sounds and tones. still, it'd be nice to get some real pianos.

I wonder if the song they're reworking is lady of the wood? Probably something we haven't heard yet, though.
My guess is Lady Get Away, too. It will be interesting to see how/if that song fits on one of their albums, as it doesn't fit with anything else they've done. Not sure what replacing electronic drums with similar Weston drums would do to it.

Awesome. Do the lyrics relate to the Disney cartoon? I don't really remember the movie.

Nope, it's just a song Stacy wrote. I'm so excited to hear a studio version. Also, Garron responded back and said very few people even noticed that. Have you not heard it? It was released with The Baby when those demos were leaked. I always forget that a lot of people haven't heard any of those.

Wow Aristicats is one of my favorites! I always thought that was just a placeholder name though.
