Haha don't worry!! There are some guitar note similarities, I see why they made the comparison, but the vibe/vocal/melody is distinctly Eisley! I'd set your mind at ease and give it a listen . . . it says Currents will be released April 23rd as a single.

Meh, I would take MM over Eisley any day of the week, but I don't think the similarity is such that you would be put off for that reason anyway.

I'd have no issue with Eisley taking cues from Modest Mouse. I think it'd be cool if they released a record that's a little less sanded down production wise. I mean...I don't want them to turn into a noise-rock band or anything, but I always suspected that there was a sliver of recklessness about them bubbling under waiting to let loose.
