Millstone is really beautiful. I like the lyrics a lot.

All of the songs are really enjoyable. It's hard for me to pick a favorite!

Still confused on some of the tracks . . . maybe they will grow on me?
This is the first Eisley record that's left me with such mixed emotions. On Combinations I loved everything but Sight to Behold, on the Valley I pretty much liked everything. This one I'm really only loving Drink the Water, Shelter, Millstone, Lost Enemies, Wicked Child, and Blue Fish. I will give it time to sink in, but I'm still really ??? on Wonder English and The Night Comes. Find me Here is pretty but kind of a throw away song? Agghh I'm so conflicted...Everyone else on here seems to think it's there best so I'm probably just not cool enough lol.

I did the vinyl and USB thing and it doesn't sound bad in my car.

Tungsten, I'm thinking this is the kind of album that'll have to warm up to people. Like when they first played wicked child and find me here I was incredibly underwhelmed but now I love them.

Wonder English is probably different because it was written specifically for someone as a gift a couple of years ago. I can't remember if I already typed that here? Ha. I agree with you on The Night Comes and Find Me Here, and am not into Save My Soul. As a sidenote, I'm intrigued by the Sherri/Stacy stylistic divide on Currents as opposed to other albums, especially since Sucre.

I don't think I heard the story for wonder English now.

So jealous of all you who have it already. I gotta wait for street date since I have to use an iTunes gift card because I'm poor.

I was hoping there would be a package in my mail, but alas, no dice. I've waited this long, I can wait longer. Interesting to see the reactions.

Does Lost Enemies have the lyric that was something like "a dancing crew"?

yeah I want to know if that's really what she said there too...I've been wondering since I first heard it...especially since I thought "lost enemies" was "lost in a maze" so my hearing doesn't seem to be up to par.

yes.

also, even though this is my favorite by eisley so far and i think their best album, i still don't think this is their full potential. after listening again i can totally see them doing orchestral or electronic based albums (of course stacy has kinda done one of these already).
