It's very cool. I commented on FB, but i try and reserve breaking eisley news to the main people who do that on here rather than claim jump their roles.

I said it there and i'll say it here:

This is the best promotion incoukd ever think of for this moment with the band/ family. They can actually have a family fun day with the babies, then end the day with a show, and they are all close to home. Plus they have a PERFECT set pf summer chill songs over their discography.

Hour and a half. Basically a true headlline set for a two band bill.

Also, this as good of a 10th anniversary event for the Laughing City & Marvelous Things EPs as anyone could hope for.

I wish I could go to this. Someone fly me to Texas plz.

If I could get the most epic somersault stage dive into a wave pool during "Sad" my life would be complete.

Perhaps lyrically more appropriate, but Sad is definitely the most stagedive worthy song in the Eisley catalog. As someone who grew up going to punk shows, it's not usually hard for me to refrain from moshing and stagediving during Eisley songs, but Sad really makes me wanna do backflips off the monitors.

They played over the shallow end, so no stage dives into the wave pool sadly.

Fun show. The sound was great, which surprised me due to the location.

The band all looked like they were having a fun day at the park with family and friends beforehand.

I noticed Jamie from afar taking pictures. I bet he got some great looks buying a ticket to the family waterpark in his 30s with blue jeans on and a camera over his shoulder. Very Happy

Any more of the new songs? I won't ask you to recall the set list, but in general, was just a bit of everything?

Was the crowd mostly just people there for a day at the park, or didn't notice any other fans there mostly to see them?

Glad it was a fun show and good sound!
