The album completely exceeded my expectations. We have true relics here. I'm obsessed with Tremendous Love. And Two Worlds and Patterns... Whoah!

Did any Eisley members make a cameo on any tracks?
If it was instrumental only, I guess we'll have to wait for the album credits.

Such a pleasant album. Also, it really makes me think of the Cranberries Everybody Else Is Doing It So Why Can't We?

Right Again has made biggest impression on me because of the strength of the tension and emotion in that one.

For those wonder about credits I got my Merriment CD today, 2 days faster than shipping prediction from USPS so here's info on the Liner Notes:

Garron Engineered, played bass on tracks, 3,7, & 11 he also played violin on 11.

Kappa### aka Mark their sound guy Mixed the album

Charlie Brand Produced (with Merriment) and played bass on all the other tracks Garron didn't except track 2

Weston drummed on track 7

Larson added string to track 12

Christie is credited with vocals and acoustic guitar

Colin: Guitar and Strings

Remington: Drums

What's odd about this is that there is a lot of programming, drum loops, synths and what not. No one is credited with any of that.

Also, in the 3 band photos other than the cover, there is only one where at least two band members appear to be looking in the same direction. Perhaps it's "their thing". The posing in those shots will probably appeal to everyone who were less than enamored with the cover. They're nice shots.

Hey nice infos! I had no idea that Larson had participated in this album. And Garron has fared well engeneering (he played violin too? cool!).

By the way, who's the guy who sings at the end of Take Heart?

No one gets credits for vocals other than Christie. I know she sings pretty low harmonizing with herself on one part, but I remember a guys voice too. I thought it might be Collin, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Reed.

I got my pre-order bundle today. Really pleased except for the fact that Merchnow packed the painted lyric card badly and it's all bent up Sad

Unfortunately I don't get paid this week so I can't buy it off iTunes. Also it isn't on Beats Music, which is what I've been using since it came out. My dad uses Spotify and he checked on there and it doesn't seem to be there either. That may be because they might not make enough from those companies to justify putting their songs on there. Which makes me wonder, how do those companies pay the artists whose music they are hosting? This is probably a little off topic, but that thought hadn't really occurred to me until now.

unless you're getting millions of pays, you get next to nothing, but usually just nothing.

Here's their version of how they pay https://www.spotifyartists.com/spotify-explained/

Here's what an artist actually received in real life:

http://business.time.com/2013/12/03/heres-how-much-money-top-musicians -are-making-on-spotify/

now take those payouts and divide them by the number of streams and you get a royalty rate that they are paying. Now imagine how much lower the streams are for a much smaller artist (easiest way to guestimate the number of streams they might have is by the number of FB friends or twitter followers (or relative social media) they have and presume 1 spin per individual.

Lorde had 65,300,000 streams and got paid somewhere between $392,000 – $549,000
it's rough 1$ per 12k streams at the highest and $1 per 16k streams for the lowest.

I see. I wouldn't blame anyone for not putting their music up then. That's basically giving your music away for free legally. I figure I'll go ahead and buy the album next week when I get paid.

I'm finally getting around to listening,
and so yeah, I'm basically sobbing.
It's so beautiful.
I need ice cream.
