Mud Very Happy I enjoyed it a lot.

Inside Llewyn Davis - Smile enjoyed it but it was definitely on the Louis C. K. tip, vibe wise. Some painful altruisms play out before your eyes.

About Time - Love Crying or Very sad Mr. Green go watch it now.

I watched Back to the Future last night. First time in widescreen and first time in 1080p.
It was pretty good and help up well. not sure how the sequels will fair with that though.

When those DVD sets came out a few years ago, I was happy that my mom picked it up. Unfortunately, she got Full Screen and I don't think I figured it out until it was already open.

I don't know that I had ever watched I and II/III close together, but if you do, you will notice MJ's age change.

The first is genius. If you think about the screenplay and concepts and then realize how they made it so accessible to practically everyone. Some times something can be so popular that it becomes underrated in a way.

I'm the least familiar with III. I would really like to see all 3 in Widescreen.
I've already got old box sets of Indiana Jones and Die Hard to go through - both had more sequels after these were made and, of course, they made bigger box sets to include those.

As a kid, sequels were just the next movie. I didn't really see how the general public liked/disliked certain ones until the Internet.

Faces In The Crowd - Cool Milla Jovavich outperforming the material, which always seems to be the case. Premise is almost novel, and the execution made for some interesting moments, but Memento it ain't.

I was happy that you watched A Face in the Crowd, but then I noticed it was only a similar title.

The Lone Ranger (2013)

You'll be happier that I watched Don't Look Back again. Smile

It has been a few year, well maybe MANY years since I first stumbled onto it on PBS, but it's the documentary that essentially made Bob Dylan a legend. Most of the clips often used of him being surly and combative with journalists can be found in this film. Bob Dylan wrote great folk songs, but I think the cult of personality benefited him in a huge way back then. This was like one of the first reality TV shows when you think about it, and he made it very compelling. The final scene where he finds out what the press labeled him as after his big UK tour has cemented his international acclaim, is may have been the most poignant.

Kiko Live - Love Man, that album is just TOO GOOD. Love it so much. So easy to forget to go back to the great ones. But it is one of the greatest albums of all time. The live version came off well 14 years after they were recorded and it is always interesting to learn the process of creating the songs. Having never seen them live in person I didn't realize most of the songs weren't in their repertoire because of the difficult drum patterns.
