It seems they have booked a weekend tour close to family. That's a good way to warm up for a longer jaunt when the machinery for a fully promoted release and tour are in place on whatever scale an artist can manage. Lets them road test the material, generate some buzz, so maybe an opening spot can be landed on a bigger tour or some sort of cross-promotional performances, stuff like that. Hopefully they'll be able to do more short weekend tours in varying regions if they stick with this approach. I know a few bands I love who don't have the time to stay on the road for weeks on end. They opt to do long weekends in one particular region every so often. Seems to work out alright. So there's hope! _________________ yup, that's my name.
