The only thing they make money on right now is, their merch, (thanks to all of you who have ordered stuff Smile ), and they get paid, (small fees), to do shows.
During their time in the studio, merch is their income maker.
When they resume touring, they will get paid for that.

The only time they would make money off of their music, is if someone were to buy a song to use. (That's the publishing part of the deal).

I hope all that made sense. Boyd could probably explain it better.

Thanks.

Ok, ok, I'll buy a shirt. Smile (Was going to anyway!)

I too have a question...again, no pressure to answer. Is Boyd technically their manager or something and paid by the band/WB? I assume since Eisley is taking up all his time now he has no time for other work.

If it's an uncomfortable question, sorry.

I wanted a shirt really bad, but paypal wasn't working because I ordered something from them before and didn't remember my password. So, I click on the thing that says "Forgot my password?" and they said they would e-mail me my password, but they never did!!! I tried it over and over again but it wouldn't work. Help!!!

Boyd is a droid. Droids don't get paid. He just has a motivator chip. Do you really think any human could stand up to the beating that man takes? I'd be dead in a week! If Boyd ever begins to slip, he will be sold cheaply to Tatooine moisture farmers, or employed as a garbage droid in Mos Eisley. Luckily, those kids seem to be taking to him, and his mulifarious capabilities. Only time will tell what becomes of this metallic wonder we know as Boyd. Confused

I assume all those monies go back to the record label to recoup costs.

business. (well, it's a videoclip making machine) I'm independently
wealthy, of course... how else could this all be happening? sheesh.

No, they don't get money from the EP sales. It's all recouped back to the label.

The EP helps to get the word out about Eisley.

The little I know about the record business sounds shady and very risky. Both for them and the artist. You don't get paid til they get paid first. The TLC story on VH1 was very informative. Because of bogus percentage deals and whatnot they ended up with around $50,000 at the end of paying everyone their percentages due. That was when they were like the #1 selling pop group. They were HUGE too!
