 Hey I had an Idea for an Eisley video and wanted to know what people thought and if they had any ideas.
Well here's the story, i was riding in our car listening to Telescope Eyes when I pictured this: Camera focuses on a doll with a tear, it is in a room that looks like it was taken from a story book, with old fashioned toys scattered throughout. There's a window seat in the room where Stacy is seated. She is looking out the window with a book on her and singing. Weston  is in a bedroom "practicing" his drums. Sherri is outside "gardening". Chauntelle is in the living room "showing" her guitar skills to people sitting on the couch. Jonathan is mowing the lawn and stops to get lemonade( from Kim) and play his bass. This is all in a farm house and shot in that surreal, golden light.

The first time I heard "They All Surrounded me" I saw the band playing in a field (grassy, not too many flowers), with various Boyd-ish clips during the verse. At the chorus, the whole band/field scene turns into a drawing, (a very Steven Kellog type drawing), a hill rises behind the band (who has mysteriously faded into a single girl). A drawn dragon comes over the hill, his tail wraps protectively against an unseen foe, and after the verse is over, the band/field footage rolls again. A music video that actually follows the lyrics? What am I thinking? |

Thanks for the suggestions( even though I'm not actually making it). BNROCKS, your idea sound so artfull  .
Endlessdays, that sounds way better than my idea .

here's my idea: they all dress up as magical creatures, aka fairys, hobbits, witches, wizards, ect ect THEN, they find one of those limos that had no top on it they blast their songs and rock out to them, air instrumental, in the seats and they jump around while people, dressed as frogs, hop around the streets and watch them and then eisley hopes out of the limo thing and kisses them all and they turn into neat little magical characters too. If they were to do animation I would like them to do "Sea King". Has anybody seen Chevelle's first video? It was all in claymation just because they didn't want to be seen. It was a horrible video. Chevelle thinks so too! |

I'd like to see a mix of live action and animation, in the same shots, like "There There" but less freaky. Also similar to the old Coldplay videos for "Trouble" and "Don't Panic," with the collage feel and somewhat jerky movements.
