each member of the audience is given a voucher with a number on it, those numbers are called out over the PA after the show and the member is given 2 minutes and 31 and a half seconds to say hello to the band and Boyd, who is really part of the band but not quite. yes a meet and greet for all who attend, that is the case. i've not been to a real show though, so dont quote me, ive just sawed them at a festival, and i met them randomly on my way to the toilet, or the bar, or whatever, i dont know it was a year ago. just say hello to BoYd he is a dude. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

you can meet all you want. as long as you can make your way through the maze of death they put up between the merch table and the audience. actually it is really very easy to not only meet the band but also to greet them. whats more is usually there is opportunity to make actual conversation beyond the usuual, "Hi-my-name-is____-i-love-you-guys-excuse-me-my-heart-just-exploded-fr om-the-excitement." |

The concert itself is greatness. At the NTNMF '03 show the hit I got from the music made me feel like I was floating. And yes, there are meet and greets (usually at the merch booth). The band's really cool about talking to people and being photographed (or when I saw them at NTNMF, being patient enough to wait for a camera to work). It is not uncommon though for people to act like a nine year old school boy when they meet the band (I say that because I was one of those cases). Great people though, some of the nicest I've ever met. Do see them live when you get the chance. _________________ Coprophiliacs make sh*tty lovers. I've seen them at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago and House Of Blues Sunset. Both great shows. _________________ "Anthony! C-Caw!" Does it really matter whether I put the toilet seat down or not? |

i've seen them a few times in dallas and once in austin. the concerts themselves are awesome, if there are any tech/sound issues Boyd is on top of it. the crowds are really cool too, everyone's friendly and you can pretty much talk to anyone. Most of the time if i see live music its hard rock and the crowd is kind of a hassle ( lots of fights ect.. ) but thats not the case with eisley. Also, at any show you can find a half dozen or so boardies so you get to meet people from the forum which is cool _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

eilsey shows It's a show that celebrates and showcases songs. They're not prone to leap about - exploiting energies to prove that the songs rock. They have their own, unique, friendly vibe... but certainly "feel" their music..which translates to the audience. Chauntelle and Sherri usually address the audience informally (Stacy hardly ever says a word). They're a vulnerable sort... their songs are moving... people usually say they're great live. If you've seen the video clips, you have an idea as to how they sound. We won't have our sound crew...so, this worries me. They're not easy to mix. I will squat over the sound guy and try to steer the live show from the front of house... These might be rusty - seeing how they haven't played a live show in months. It's all individual tracking right now. after eilsey shows If this ends up being like any other shows, the band will finish their show, go backstage for a few minutes to deal with unplugging and unloading guitars, chatting, etc...and eventually emerge...like to the merch booth. Sometimes this gets challenged, but not usually. They'll hang out for a while and yak, sign...etc. I'll probably be back stage breaking down and loading out...and like a dog. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. Hopefully we won't be rushed. It is the last show of the night and usually venues coral everyone out like cattle... bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
