Hey everyone....me, Christie, Collin, and Jessie, (Weston's girlfriend), went to Hasting's at midnight and bought our copies! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSIE!!! And, anyway, it was cool because there were other people there that were buying it! Has anyone tried the enhanced part of the cd? I can get everything to work, but the Eisley Extras part. I thought that that was suppose to be the amazing video that Boyd put together, but it just takes me to this page that says, "access granted". Hmmnn....I'll have to ask Boyd. Goodnight all. I just bought my copy here in Houston too, awesome EP... Can't wait for a full length, or for them to come back to Houston. Can't get the Extras to work either, so hopefully it'll be up soon. Good luck on the tour!!!!!! chris

I'm horrified if the eisley xtras video isn't working. That would suck very bad. I wisked off an email to....well, people....to find out what gives. With over 12 cd's sold Nationwide, we can't have a disaster like this. Boyd p.s. ironic that you guys get to see the CD before the band does. People can buy it and we're stuck up here in Canada with no CD's. Hopefully tomorrow night, Dave will bring a butt-load. But guess what?!! we have T-SHIRTS and you don't....ha ha ha....(well, not Kim; talking to our Dallas homey's) I'm sporting mine for the first time tomorrow night. Wanna see em? wait for it.....heh heh. We just walked downtown to a place called Boston Pizza which was decent. man man man.. I want this EP pretty bad now.. but I suppose I can wait.. i've gotta get it after school tomorrow.. *sigh* oh well. i've got to get a music stand that doesn't blow away in the wind anyway (for you know, my jazz band.. those wussy portable metal ones just dont cut it.. I suppose I could memorize the stuff as well.. but considering the fact that we've only got 3 originals, and a bunch of jazz standards, it's kinda difficult.. hrrm i'm rambling) anyway.. i'm crossing my fingers that the local best buy is carrying the EP .. a bunch of my friends are going to get it.. (I doubt many more people have heard of Eisley except for them.. but they're hooked, so it almost counts as a huge amount of people right? hehe).. oh yes, but anyway, I guess the new deftones album comes out tomorrow, so they're probably gonna spend their cash on that first.. i'm not too into the deftones, but you know, whatever I suppose.. hrrm, Eisley EP.. Best Buy didn't have it but Wherehouse Music did. The only thing is, it was in the singles section of the store rather than the pop/rock section. The store clerk said that the person who put it there probably did it since it was priced so low. got mine at virgin megastore. cheaper than good records, amazingly. yes... i drove 35 minutes to get my eisley ep. worth the drive cause it gave me time to hear it on the ride home. best buy had neither the new starlight mints album nor the eisley ep when i went. they lose TWICE! oh, if you go to good records for the starlight mints album, make sure you get the 7" free with it... it's got a song from Steve (Blue's Clues guy) with THE FLAMING LIPS backing him up! o_O _________________ rest in my arms sleep in my bed theres a design to what i did and said piccysssssss |

I must say Im dissapointed with the "release" dates at such stores as walmart and best buy. When I was in walmart at 12:30 the national walmart radio station said that the ep was now availible in the entertainment section I went there no ep heres what I got instead "oh yeah well since we dont care we dont have any" maybe i changed some stuff but thats what I heard. And best buy only has it if you order it and wait a week or more. So I went to warehouse music and bought the only copy in the store and thats the story of it all. |
