I have another book that is perfect for Eisley and all Eisley lovers: The Little Prince. I read it for school and absolutely LOVED it. If you google "Little prince full text" you can read it online. Click on the link to a "korczak" website. It will be the first or second link. It's a really beautiful book.

Porcupine Tree has a really ethereal sound, especially their earlier releases, which were super ambient. The lyrics don't really bear much similarity to Eisley, but the music often reminds me of it.

Different sorts of dreamy... but dreamy all the same.

I like Ester Drang alot, and they always give me the dreamy feel. Some of Starflyer 59s stuff does, also. Neither band is really comparable to Eisley, I don't think, but I think they are way more dreamy.

For me, Eisley isn't all that dreamy. More imaginative.

I'm sure that this is a fairly biased group of people, but I'd have to say that Eisley is one of the most pleasant dreams that anybody could ever have. Pink Floyd can have that dreamy quality, but they can also be a little angsty. (As can Radiohead, Travis, etc.)

Of the band's i listen to the closest are probably Straylight Run, Eels and possibly also Feeder sometimes though none are close to being as "dreamy" as Eisley. Hence why i love Eisley, who are perfect "doing college work to" music. Thing is i used to despise female vocals until hearing Eisley, certainly mind opening

Hahaha! I got out of school yesterday, and my French II teacher let me borrow her video of Le Petit Prince, Antoine de St. Exupéry to brush up on vocab over the summer and just to entertain myself (future French major).

What a (cool) coincidence! Plus Antoine is Anthony in french, so obviously I wanted to borrow it.

Oh, and about bands that are as "dreamy" as Eisley... I honestly don't think I know of any. I really like the Like, Imogen Heap, and Frou Frou but those are just... different types of "dreamy," none really imaginative or fantasy-like... So i don't know.
