I appreciate Chauntelle's voice the most, but I like it used sparingly, like a delicacy.

Technically, I think Christie has the best voice. I think it's made to stand alone.

Chauntelle reminds me of another singer I hear very little from and that's Gweneth Paltrow. They have a similiar singing voice in my opinion granted Gweneth uses a more noticeable vibrato. What do you guys think?

I'm so happy Chauntelle is singing again! Her voice is so sweet and gentle; it really adds something special to the band! I hope she continues to sing!

Yes! That's why I love her voice, it's very unique. It kind of reminds me of Imogen Heap's voice in that way. Hopefully this thread and our comments will give her more confidence to sing because she can sing very well:)

They all have amazing voices but Chauntelle's seems the most special. I think it's because I've heard it the least. When she sings live it blow her sisters out of the water. So amazing.

I tend to agree with this opinion but I also think it's the fact that we haven't heard it as much, but the leaked song of her just singing I am absolutely in love with as well. Think it's because she brings something different vocally to the table. Though all of the dupree girls seem to have angelic voices that are godsends.

It would be crazy cool, if Stacy or Sherri would write a song featuring Chauntelle's voice!

She sang in the band until/when she was like 17 or 18 maybe? Then she lost her confidence somehow. Recently it seems to be coming back!

I hope it is. It would be such a waste if she didn't start singing again.

I think of Chauntelle as their secret weapon - she has that great voice lurking in the stillness of stage right, and someday might just open wide and triple their harmonious power. That would be a SOUND to behold.
