If I were one of those girls, I would be slightly scared of all the proposals and whatnot. Sure, it's flattering at first, but after awhile it begins to get creepy. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one of the DuPree girls fancied more than a few of us as psychos who enjoy dragging young ladies into the back of their van so they can say "it puts the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again" Really, if we want the girls and guys to stick around and lend their voice to the forums, we need to cut out the proposals, lol. |

Heh. Well, I hope they laugh and make hash marks so they can keep up with proposals. If people show up at their house or something, then that would be uber creepy. But this is a little electronic thing. We've gotten about three or four threads in the past couple of weeks actually doing this (right?) ... that's not too shabby to me. I mean, we're at 2000-plus users now. But I'm going to shut up. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Maybe next time a Sherri "lover"( )decides to make a thread about his "love" for Sherri DuPree( ), he'll actually think, "If I were her, would I like this? Would I even give this guy a chance? Internet freak." Of course, he'll probably answer himself "yes" because he still thinks that it may just work. I think I said it in the chat... but I think people who make such a big deal about all the love "professions" are a little obsessed. All your complaints will not make it stop. Why? Because some newbie will come and do it without having read your complaints first. Besides... I seriously doubt that somebody who says, "I love you Sherri, will you marry me?" honestly believes that they have a chance. It's just something people say... just because. Ignore it... and it won't bother you. And no, I've not "professed" my love to a DuPree... other than to Boyd (but it was really late and that was a non-romantic sort of love). _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

Teddy's starting to resemble a bra burning feminist after that guy on the bike whistled at her Now she's a man hater because of what one guy did...aww,us poor guys My take on the people who "profess" their love for a band member is i'm going to zip up my mouth and not say anything anymore...I nearly had my head blown off last time this subject reared it's head. _________________ |

i am totally obsessed, my whole life is now devoted to all things Eisley, i do nothing but think of eisley and how great they are. i have downloaded all the pics from the site and increased them to poster size and pinned them on my walls, covered. im even going to LA just to see if i can catch a glimpse of them, im gonna even offer to hold Boyds coffee cup when he isnt drinking from it, he is the bestest. this one time, in august last year, i met him, he was cool, yes definately. i dont even have any freinds, they all deserted me when i said i was obsessed by some gurl band called The Eisleys, a girl version of The Strokes. right must go, i have a flight to la to catch. in answer to your question, i think i spend too much time on this forum when i should be doing cnstructive work like assignments. obsessed? no. enjoy wasting my time posting pointless crap like this? yes probably. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

the best way to make a good impression on any of the band members is to go to their shows and hang out and introduce yourself afterwards. If you post a lot, mention your forum username and they'll probably recognize it. _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |
