my girlfriend-at-the-time helped me get into them. she found a bunch of their songs on kazaa and went to some shows with me. eventually she got really jealous and i remember her saying something about how ridiculous it was for her to feel like she had to compete with a band for my attention but i don't remember the details.. i think i was working on straylight6 (my old fansite) when she was talking to me heh. ..i wonder if she still lurks here.. if she does i'm sure she's really mad right now.. um i was kidding :) _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

My ex-gf was weird cuz she really did like the band underneath it all. She hated when I'd play their music cuz she couldn't shut me up from singing along. Annoyed the hell out of her. She would get so jealous of Stacy in particular for some reason. Probably cuz I'd talk about how much I loved her voice or songwriting or whatever. Yeah, she'd totally get jealous and mad. It was kinda ridiculous and really annoying cuz she was serious. She was in like fan denial though cuz she'd get upset when I put on their music but quietly sing along to My Lovely and They All Surrounded Me when I wasn't looking. She loved TASM. Stacy was like her arch enemy in a way though. Her bitter rival for some reason. Anyway, glad that's over. Eisley lovers should never look for a gf/bf who won't share their love for the band. Its sad. They turn into mean ogres when the music comes on and you just want to shut them up so you can sing along. _________________ Its all in the making. Its all yet to be. My best friend (who is much closer than any boyfriend I'll ever have) doesn't really like them that much. He did make me un-Eisley-fy my Xanga, and I haven't forgiven him... He's heard their songs from my Xanga though... I don't think he s them. _________________ I know that I'm a sucker for anything acoustic. |

I don't have a girlfriend (or boyfriend, just to clarify). I did have a girlfriend when I found Eisley and she liked them, but didn't REALLY like them because there are three cute girls in the band and she assumed that that was the reason I liked them. A girl I dated in February said she disliked them and I think it was for similar reasons. After we broke up, she admitted to actually liking them though and went to get their album. |

My boyfriend is what I would call a 'try too hard scenester' who lives and breathes hardcore. The music I listen to is apparently like one long song that sounds the same, despite the band or album. But with Eisley something must have been different..he is now besotted (?) with them and is 'in love' with Sherri..and so is my brother of 15 who loves 'skacore'. I love eisley for this..they appeal to all..they are some peoples guilty pleasures and others obsessions..it sounds cheesey but its true. They are my escape. Well I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. But my old boyfriend hated every band I listened too but he listened to 80's hair metal so it was hard to take him seriously. |

I don't have a boyfriend. But I didn't show Eisley to my exboyfriend till after we broke up. He said they were pretty good, and then a week later he said they sucked. Whatever. All my brothers like them though, and my best guy friend was who got me into them. I played them in the car for my parents once, and my dad said the melodies were weird. |

and she's been to every show with me because she likes them too. We've even actually brought my grandma with us  when they opened
for Hot Hot Heat in Chicago and to the M-Theory instore performance. She likes them too , haha.
Um, I wouldn't care if my boyfriend liked Eisley or not. |
