With Wrigley field being like 500ft away from the Metro, it's gonna be crazy. There are going to be poeple everywhere. Cubs home opener is at 1:20pm this Friday (day of the concert) and they play their #1 rival The St. Louis Cardinals. It also appears the Metro and the Smartbar (apparently same address as the Metro) have other things going on the same night. Can you say public transportation? Should be a fun day and night, on into the next day for the over 21 who are so inclined... |

Can I get a ride from the Far West Suburbs for me and my wife (Geneva, IL which is between Aurora and Elgin). That is where I will be droping my kids and dog off at my parent's house for the day and night. I will split parking and gas for a ride down and back. Just don't tell my wife how often I post here. |

I'm going with my friend Andrew. We're taking the train into Union Station and then the El or something. I'm so excited. Good times to be had. It seems like any time there is a show at the Metro that I want to go to or have gone to, there is a game at Wrigley Field. The guys with the lot space for selling parking spaces make such a killing. _________________ Thistledown |

Well if the Cubbies play at 1:20, that's be alright. The game will probably be over at about 5:00 or so... ...as for parking, I'm not so sure. I'll hang on the Metra/Red Line so I won't pay 4,000 dollars. _________________ -Gerard Have a wonderful evening everyone. www.xanga.com/yesterdaydream (omgz a xangaz!) www.myspace.com/yesterdaydreammusic (the band i'm in.) www.myspace.com/gerardmanalo (My, Myspace. When I saw Eisley for the first time there, on the Hot Hot Heat tour, my dad and I managed to find a parking space directly across the street from the Metro. It cost somewhere between like, $25 and $35. _________________ Thistledown |

I have been a huge Eisley fan for a while now(i had to start a new name to post this because i forgot my password and deactivated the e-mail account i used to start my first one) and my best friend got me a ticket to see them for the first time at the metro. I'm from iowa and I've never gone to a concert in chicago and I have no clue when to get there or what train to take. If you guys have any tips for me, i would really appreciate it! |
