The Nick is ages 21 and up. Shows start 10:30-11:00 nightly unless noted Oh.. wow... I've never went from being so happy to being so upset in such a short time range. Finally, a show in the deep south, and it's not even all ages. I shall go be sad and lie in bed now. _________________ "Dang D, you ain't goin' up that hill is you?" "No fool, I'm goin' down it!" To answer the questions that keep coming up: Eisley, including Boyd, does not choose the tour dates, or venues, or even the cities involved. Ever since Eisley signed the WB contract they have been represented by a Booking Agent....the tour dates are negotiated by this Agency, and the band really has very little say in what happens. They can make suggestions, communicate their desires, etc., but the Booking Agent arranges a tour based on logistics and club availability (and profitability, but Eisley isnt' really profitable in a concert sense yet). Eisley isn't playing in large enough clubs ( not drawing a large enough audience) yet to make demands like "all our shows must be all ages shows." Those decisions are pretty much decided by the club themselves at this point. When you can consistently draw a crowd of thousands every night, then you can start making those kind of demands, and when you can draw that may people to your show, that's when ticket prices become $20 or $30, instead of the $10 we've been used to for Eisley headlining shows so far. |

The exit in is smaller, and more of a personal venue, Rcktwn is ginormous _________________ ROCK ME AMADEUS!! "I was on tour in the United States back in '89 and we did a show in Cincinnati. During that show I shouted out, 'It's great to be in Cincinnati!' That was a lie." -David Bowie |

June 6, Martini Ranch Scottsdale AZ Hmm...I think it would be too much of a coincidence if it wasn't with Eisley. Unless they are meeting up with them later on the tour. Its peculiar because we were told they are not playing the whole tour with Eisley and we know for a fact they are playing in Houston with them on the 5th. Still, I'm changing the Arizona date to the 6th. |
