http://inconnumag.tumblr.com/ cool. Speaking of Jenny Lewis, she mentions Whispertown on Twitter all the time, so she may have been at the Sucre'/Whispertown show. Blake Sennett mentions Whispertown, too, and he already has Eisley history via the touring with The Elected. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

from calling CS i finally got my answer. since i ordered both the CD and LE package, they said they would ship them together. I asked why did my email say the cd would ship on the 10th. they said sorry. they also said, as of today, the goods are not in yet for the LE. i said i asked them specifically if the cd was waiting for the other stuff to ship and they never answered, which is why i called. anyway, i got my answer. now it's a waiting game. _________________ Wil's excellent description of me. wilsmith wrote: You're the Anti-Censorship+Topless Twitpic Parodying+Youth Group Video Directing guy that's a champion for the 1st amendment, Videogames as Art, and unrepentant file sharing... ...bottomspin... They are already breaking the LE up into 2 shipments, the poster in a tube and the vinyl in a box. On top of the additional shipping costs to do that they probably still charged you S/h for the cd. For that they should at least discount anyone, cause that's a shady way to bump up profits, if only by a little. But Amazon is notorious for it given no matter the vendor or size & weight od the item; save for orders processed via amazons shipping directly you get charged per item at an arbitrary rate even if it's two item from the same vendor, each weighing all of a gram like a micro sd card & a plastic screen protector shipped in a small unpadded envelope s/h is still 5.96 standard mail. _________________ yup, that's my name. my guess is you are correct. i paid just shy of $20.00 for shipping. which seemed ok at the time given that i would be getting two shipments on two different days. i almost brought that up, but i decided to let it go. there is no sense in me getting as mad as i almost did over a cd. i was just more frustrated over lack of info over anything else. _________________ Wil's excellent description of me. wilsmith wrote: You're the Anti-Censorship+Topless Twitpic Parodying+Youth Group Video Directing guy that's a champion for the 1st amendment, Videogames as Art, and unrepentant file sharing... Sometimes it's just healthier to take the loss & move on. In this case and most cases it's as much to do with principle as it does with cash. You can always chalk it up to cyber-karma for file sharing I guess? Sucre' are the Ghostrider's of the Digital Age doling out Penance Preorders to exact vengeance on those who've pirated illgotten goods in years long gone. _________________ yup, that's my name. Calm down everybody. It's ok now. I got my cd so it's all good. I was worried because the mail packaging had a hole punched in it and the jewel case was smashed and had a huge crack on it but the cd was intact. My favorite is Endless Sleep "No love no loss there’s only air, I feel no pain there’s only here" *chills*. Then No Return, Hiding Out, Chemical Reaction, but they're all great. _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

So, as long as You got Your cd it's all good How would you have felt if I said that monday? I'd rather people vented here than on FB or Twitter, and haven't looked to see if that's the case. At least this place is a little more under the radar. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. That has to be it. I've realized that the forum doesn't work on my home internet, but only on campus. It happened after I tried to make a masterpost of my chill-out tracks with youtube links. Thanks for the explanation, because I was pretty confused. _________________ |
