haha that's so disputable, especially with the last album. they did half of it in omaha with mike mogis, but they did rough cuts with mark trombino here in la, which is their home. you can hear his influence on "portions for foxes" the most. i mean songs like "i never" are distinctly saddle creek, but like i said, it's disputable at best.

and by the way, i DID mention that i didn't know which city in texas had the largest "scene," therefore i left texas as an option... i knew if i didn't at least put texas in there somewhere, people would be more angry.

Texas is where it's at...and it's definitely fun to be a local band in Dallas because you get to play with cool bands like some of the ones mentioned above...

everyone says they're from NY they're not! they're from jersey i know this because i know them...my friends band used to tour with them before they got good, ...oh heck who cares they might as well be from new york, nothin aver comes out of jersey...except for that devil the jersey devil
