okay, now that the definative master cd is made i guess i can now wish for what i hope lost at sea would be like, since the cd is done now and i will just have to wait and see what the final take turned out like. first, i am correct to say that it will be on the cd, i am pretty sure i remember reading that it was. anyways. i remember seeing a video by boyd with the whole band playing lost at sea. now don't get me wrong or anything, it sounded cool but i definitely think that, personally (which all this is, personal opinion), the whole band thing took part of the magic away from the song. lost at sea is by far my favorite but it is mostly because it is so calm, eerie and stuff with simply the vocals and the keyboards. i'd like to know what other people think but that is my mind, if they simply removed the hiss from the "raw cassette demo" i would think it would be a GREAT album closer. again, my opinion. |

I like the songwriting and melody very much....but the way it's arranged is so critical to making it "work". I think everyone will have to hear the final arrangement to pass judgement. I noticed you changed some chords from the first organ demo. I kind of liked the major chord you had under the second "all the way home" portion in there originally, but I like the new chord under "I will always love you" better. Oh well, very pretty in any case. |

Seriously though, who would possibly think it's a good idea to specifically say that you don't like a particular song, before it's even finished? Crazy. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
