edit: No means you DO NOT want it. Yes means you DO want it. I would do it, and there would be no serious negative awards that would be meant to hurt peoples feelings (things like dumbest boardie, worst poster, most annoying). It would be a positive kind of thing. Would anyone want to/not want to do it? _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

Yeah ... I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I think I'm biased because I'm full of myself and only say yes because I like thinking that I have a shot at winning stuff. 
If the awards took into consideration every boardie here ... everyone could participate equally, and could enter themselves into "pre-lims" ... then the nominations would be announced, and it would be based on research done by the people in charge of nominations. If, let's say, I, Potato and Brandon all entered into the category of "Most Likely To Leave All The Dang Time", you would have to measure how many times each boardie has left, for how long, and perhaps which one is the biggest "flight risk" these days ... that award would be a statistical dead heat, I say! Statistical! However, if Brandon, Potato and I entered ourselves up for nomination in the category of "Most Likely To Announce They Are Leaving In A Sappy Thread Just Because They Want A Self-Esteem Boost From The Replies Of People Saying They'll Miss You", well ... I'd win hands down. The other two don't even tell you they're leaving ... they just skip town like that! No warning! 
Anyways ... I said yes, I think board-awards would be fun, as long as they didn't get competitive ... there's a risk that they might. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |

I voted yes, I think that it'd be neat, 'specially since there are no negative-type awards. But how exactly would you do it? How would the votes be done/counted, etc.?
