this thread is for posting reviews you see in magazines, newspapers, etc.
or for writing your own, i thought i'd make this a tad early, because a lot of people seem to have heard it so...go ahead, but only if you've heard the album

Seriously: Unbelievably good. Frighteningly good. Not a single 'skip' song on the entire CD. Impossible to have a favorite.
This is a recording in the classical tradition. The songs are put together like acts in a play. They lead into each other. This album is a single piece of art. You have to listen to the whole thing, in the right order.
Every song is thematic in a creeping into your mind way, unbidden. It is background music for just about every emotion, every mindset, every event in a life fully lived.
Over stated? Nope! This thing will get inside you and just stay there forever. Let others get into comparisons, production values, musicianship, imagery. I just need to say: Thank you!

I HATE THE WAY ALL THE SONGS END!

Because.... then they are over.

good idea, then i can not read this thread until i get the album and make MY OWN decisions and not think when i get it, 'oh thingy said it was like this'
you know like when someone says 'this movie is hilarious' and it isn't when you see it with expectations.

Review copies are getting out. All are protected and traceable. I know it is frustrating for you who are patiently waiting, but necessary to get the word out in the biz. And biz people will leak it to fringe biz people and so it goes.
If you get word of it 'available for downloading' let someone know. That would be a very bad thing.
I also think that maybe a disclaimer for this thread is a good idea. 'Don't read this if you want a clear mind and no greenish feelings.'
Sinisterpenguin's feelings are totally valid.
