i pick tree tops. always has been my fav, but mr. pine and marvelous things and BECOMING YOU are close behind.

weston, on the ep, it sounds like your bass drum was exploding. that is cool.

I think that laughing city is my favorite recording. The strings are just so cool, and the acoustic guitars too. I'm not sure what my favorite song is. I really like I wasn't prepared, and marvelous things even though they wrote it after the finshed the ep. I like sun feet alot too.

and letdown, I think treetops is really cool too.

i voted the last option, i should have voted the first one but well yeah oops Mr. Green

i'm really looking forward to hearing it, esp tree tops recording and well all of it actually assuming that it isnt a joke and mr pine isnt on the ep, i'm gutted i really like that one. but the others are good (the versions i have heard).

i am really dissapointed that Mr. Pine is not on the EP.. but that's ok. Hopefully it's being saved for something better..and bigger.. like the LP??!!! *cough cough*

My favorite songs on the EP are the last two. I like them all, but i feel that the way the EP was produced and layed out was rather deliberate.

it feels like the first three songs, produced by John Goodmanson have this more solid "rockish" feel to them. To me, the Mike Mogis songs really captured Eisley in a more fitting and unique manner. I feel it builds into this great, marvelous crescendo with Laughing City being the apex of the CD. It just bulids and builds and finally, in the last song, captures what i've always felt is the essence of Eisley.

Leaves me excited for the continuing crescendo & the next songs to come...

all that said, no Eisley experience is complete... or compares to seeing them and hearing them sing live. utterly amazing.
