Posted: Wed Jan 12, 2005 6:48 am the morning becomes electric program.. i think it would be a great idea, when Eisley is over in LA.A. do to that program.. a lot of indie artists have performed there.. with much success. Now i don't know what the protocols are, pertaining to getting on the show.. inivations or mostly likely a push from Capitol? either way.. it's promotion.. but i think it's also a way to show the world how wonderful.. no no.. AMAZING the band sounds live.. ahh.. and they film the session.. and post it on there website.. just another bonus.. http://www.kcrw.com/find/find_results.php3?words=&exclude=%2Fpl%2F&res trict=&any_desc=&search_keywords=&AllOrAny=all&search_archives=on&show _code=mb&radiodate=button_fixed&past_shows=all&start_date=&end_date=&s ort_order=AirDate&order_type=ReverseOrder&search_static=on&x=49&y=10 _________________ ask her if she still keeps all her kings in the back row? |

I'm guessing you meant KCRW, not KRCW. It's certainly true that the station has an enormous influence on band publicity. Coldplay did their first US gig there, and before Norah Jones' first album started selling out she played on Morning Becomes Eclectic, too. It's nigh impossible for itty bitty bands to make it on the show, but I'm sure that with the right help from Warner Brothers, Eisley could do it. And that'd be so awesome. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
