when faced with that question, what is one to say?

i told some people about Eisley and they asked the same question. so, the first thing that came to mind was, "do you like Radiohead? Death Cab for Cutie? Rilo Kiley? i'm sure you'll like Eisley." but they don't sound like them.

They sound like Eisley.

Barring that, I suppose you could say they sound a bit like Sixpence None the Richer, the Innocence Mission, old-school Jewel, and a few others... but very, very different.

such a hard question. I think they kind of sound like the "blue oyster cult" if you ask me.

they sound like good.
that's what i say, and people roll their eyes at me and i'm like "dude, if you listen to them, you'll understand" and then they do and they go "yeah, that's probably the best answer you can come up with"

When people ask me that question I hand them a mix of live bootlegs that I carry around.

speaking of such things, i was telling my brother of the eisley/nfg tours, and he gave me a puzzled face and said what?(as in surprise/alarm)

so i says, yeah, WB couldn't classify them into one genre, so their putting them on tour w/people from every genre, their touring with lil jon, next year...

the end

GODBLESS

i just say an awesome band, give the person a listen, and let Eisley's music do the rest. it works 9 out of 9 times.
