 Post subject: The "Stop Complaining About NFG" ThreadPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2005 6:40 am 
Seriously, guys. I don't like them any more than you do. It's time to get over it; we've known about this tour for months. It'll be good for Eisley, and nobody has to stay and watch NFG. Bashing bands is bad enough when other bands do it, but when Eisley fans do it, it reflects poorly on Eisley. And when you create a thread devoted to voicing your frustrations with New Found Glory, it has nothing to do with Eisley, and thus does not belong in EisleyBlog. I agree, its just in poor taste. Let's put a stop to it, I'm all for locking up any anti-NFG threads. Plus, like Antirider said, how many NFG fans are we turning away from liking Eisley because they come here and see us bashing NFG? I know I wouldn't take to kindly to NFG if I saw them bashing Eisley over there. |

That probably won't happen, since admin wholly believes in free speech, which is totally a good thing. We just have to trust that people will use some discretion, or, at the very least, glance at the forum before creating another such thread. If we're really lucky everyone will all just get over it, because they really don't have any reason to complain. honestly, i love nfg. i always identify eisley fans with having respect for a wide range of music.. especially if you look at all the topics in our other music section.. so i was actually shocked a bit by all the nfg rants. _________________ roooooooooooooooar. |

The fact of the matter is, nfg are huge fans of Eisley, and whether you like them or not...they have an enormous fan base. The exposure Eisley is getting at these shows is incredible. I see plenty of positives on this tour. Kim (4/5ths the bands mother) has asked us to be respectful of a band that has shown Eisley and their family nothing but love and support. To me, that settles it. gRegor, is there anyway we can lock these threads down so nobody else can remove the scab again? |
