i think eisley will win. really, the band who's going to win is the band who puts the most effort into promoting, and i think that's probably eisley. straylight run won the last one (i'm on their street team, too. i'm proud), because, like eisley, they put up messages on their message boards, asked their street team, sent out emails, etc. i think eisley will pretty much have the same level of success on this. i've been plugging this as much as possible and i was surprised how much good response i got when i asked my livejournal friends to vote. people who i never expected to like eisley are saying 'i voted, i love eisley!' or 'my boyfriend likes eisley, i'll get him to vote too' or 'i voted with both my accounts and i'm going to spread the word'. it's been great. _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". Yeah It probably stores your IP when you vote so you can't vote over and over again. AOL users get a new IP everytime they sign on...get the hint? Vote, sign off, sign in, vote, rinse, repeat. "But it's too much work!!" But it's for Eisley _________________ I have no lover, and she hasn't the prettiest eyes. |

I'm up to 36 so far. You don't need an account to vote though. I mean... I haven't signed in under my account and I've voted from work and home. Usually if you have to have an account to vote for stuff at a website it would say, "you must be signed in to vote." _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

I'm in the process of registering 100 new Yahoo accounts. Surely this won't disqualify me from that CD prize pack? No one knows 100 people with Yahoo accounts who would be willing to vote for Eisley. It must be the only way. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

ha ha... this is amazing. i expected no less from you guys. I've been going back too... have you read the record reviews? they're so good. and that long bio that some wonderful copy writer at WB wrote... it's been updated to encompass "Room Noises". It's so dang good. I went and voted for each song....(5 stars) and the records and everything I could.... multiple times, but like you, i'm afraid it tracks the ip and you get one that counts. I don't know much about those other bands, but...I...hmmm.. I don't want to say anything negative. hmmm...wow. I do wish, however, that Marvelous Things or some other song than Telescope Eyes were on the playlist. I can't watch the vid's cuz there's some Mac issue with having to use Netscape 4.7. What a pain. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. i just read that biography/review by the warner guy... oh man, i literally got chills reading it. it was so beautiful and a perfect description of how i feel about this band. three cheers for such a wonderfully written bio. _________________ "Daddy please hear this song that I sing In your heart there's a spark that just screams For a lover to bring a child to your chest that could lay as you sleep And love all you have left like your boy used to be Long ago wrapped in sheets warm and wet" --neutral milk hotel |
