no. beef is the best. we've been over this. chicken is okay. but just as long as you DO like the stuff. then you don't go to ramen jail. i've heard it's not very nice. and you have it on your record for life. Confused

i must be a huge freak because i have an arm growing out of ym forehead... that and i prefer shrimp...

and i agree... ramen always reminds me of camping... especially when eaten raw... at the end of those long backpacking trips we would just tear open the packages and eat the noodles dry. sprinkle a little flavoring on as you go and its great. wash it down with a canteen of iodine infested water and you have a typical boyscount backpacking meal. yum...

hmm, we never had Ramen for our campouts.. Usually for car camping we'd have dinty moore stew... mmm that stuff was the best hehe, :-d

but usually for backpaking we'd have things like Spagetti with meatsauce (all home dehydrated, even the meat.) and a bunch of hamburger helper stuff.. (which actually really really hits the spot when you're out there, we even had some fried spam once hehe)....

anyway, I always had Ramen at home, and it was chicken for me SUCKAS!!!!!! forget all of that beef stuff.. hehe Razz Rolling Eyes

it's dried noodles (that can be consumed by themselves if you like) that are in a squarish package like this..:

you just boil the water and put the noodles in there, and put the powdered stuff that turns the water into broth into it at some point.. I can't remember when you do this, because it's been a while since i've eaten it... but it is good stuff, and it's cheap..

observe the cooked Top Ramen Wink :

I lived of ramen the last 4 weeks of this past spring semester. Oriental is the best. actually suprising enought. my fav way to consume ramen is to boil the noddles, drain of all the water, add the seasoning, then after mixing the seasoning and noddles thoroughly, dump into breakfast bowl and add a cup or 2 of warm milk.
