The girls played Waterloo Records by themselves acoustically.

After many requests they caved in and played "blackened crown" at last night's show.

avi of almost of "Blackened Crown" live in Austin 1-31-05

wow, Blackened Crown. That's pretty awesome. Maybe they'll play Head Against The Sky at a California show Very Happy

Here's hoping boyd can put up a better quality, full version of the performance. I love that they can just jump right into it and have it sound as amazing as it does.

i didnt go to the show at waterloo but i made it to the parish show. i got there for the last 2 songs by The Elected, very good stuff. right before Eisley went on, chauntelle walked right infront of me twice and told my friend nice jacket!! and the lead singer of The Elected came and stood by me for a few minutes!!

im wondering, they said they had a song avalible to download on their site, but i dont see it. something from the chorus was something like "Ive never met anyone like you." anyone know???

That's "Vintage People," which was just released on iTunes, so that's the only way to get the studio recording of it right now. Here is a live mp3 of it, though, too.

Oh, and here is the iTunes link, where you can download the album version of "Telescope Eyes," as well as "Vintage People" and an alternate version of "Tree Tops."

What a fantastic show and the acoustic in-store was awesome!! Just a note to Boyd and Chauntelle to say thanks for being so kind. It's great to see a band with this kind of talent be so humble and gracious to all their fans!

I was just getting into that "Blackened Crown" clip when it was over so suddenly! Man, they really turned that song into something else live... So heavy, so moving. Great stuff.

What an amazing show!!! Great job by the Colour and The Elected. I was impress by there performance. My heart was just pounding waiting for Eisley to play there set. I enjoy watching them do "Lost At Sea" Very Happy OH, who else caught that....on "Marvelous Things" I don't think Stacy was ready. She started hitting the wrong cords and singing out of key in the beginning. But she soon recovered when the band came in. I can't believe that fan got them to play "Blackened Crown". Over all I enjoy being there, even though most of the fans around my friend and I made us feel uncomfortable since were both Hispanics. Crying or Very sad But other then that I'm Glad I was there. I'll go ahead and post the pix I took of them later on the day.

They played 'blackened crown'? Thats awesome! I was really surprised when Boyd told me before the Houston show that they were going to play 'mr. pine'! I was psyched to hear it live. It was my first Eisley concert, and I can't wait for the next!
