 Post subject: Barnes & Noble (not Nobles)Posted: Sun Feb 06, 2005 4:23 pm 
After watching Paul McCartney during the half-time show my girlfriend and I went to Barnes & Noble/Starbucks for some coffee (not me) and some reading. After going there a few days in a row the big comfy chairs were finally empty so we could use them. As we were sitting in the chair, my girlfriend reading and me comtemplating when I would have the urge to get up and get a book to read, I recognized a voice throughout the store. I walked to the audio/video area and asked the employee if I could look at the album playing. By the time I had already decided that it was Room Noises, and I wanted to look at the cd. I was suprised at the small about of artwork, I was hoping for more of Sherri's art, but I was glad that the bulk of the writing was lyrics. There was barely any legal mumbo jumbo to mess up the album, and no FBI label to take the back of the case. Those things really annoy me. I engaged in conversation with the employee, who had wanted to listen to Eisley but never bought the two Reprise eps. I told him about the show at the Gypsy Tea Room and he checked his schedule to see if he could go. After that I went back and sat with my girlfriend. I think that was a very fulfilling night. I saw Paul McCarney, enjoyed time with my girlfriend, listened to the end of Room Noises, looked at/held Room Noises, and possibly got another person to go to the show.
