eisley was #1 most added album in the recent cmj charts, with 163 adds

they're also on the cover of the current issue of cmj alert

room noises is currently the #10 most played album on wmuc, but i'm going to get to work on that one Wink

so, what's the difference between CMJ New Music Monthly and CMJ Alert?
and is CMJ Alert available at say B&N or Borders? i've never seen CMJ Alert there if they do.

The CMJ (New Music Report)Alert is a trade magazine for radio stations and music industry types. A subscription is really expensive compared to the monthly. It's not really about new music, but about that music's place in radio and stores.

CMJ Monthly is the public magazine, monthly, with a CD of new music (that used to be great, then sucked, now it's okay again). It's kind of expensive, but not too bad.

i love CMJ Monthly, i was just wondering about CMJ Alert. thanks for explaining what Alert was. i thought i was gonna have to search every place that sells magazines for that one. ha. Smile
