Eisley came in 1st on Fuse's: "Oven Fresh "for Telescope Eyes
It was rumored and perhaps even miscommunicated on Fuse that they came in 3rd (which still would have been amazing), but the record is straight: #1. Thanks for all of you e-mergers and forumers who voted. I'm still scratching my head. And the band...they're llike: "huh? oven fresh? is that good?"

Eisley is on the cover of CMJ
People I talked to physically saw it with his very eyes, so i think it's true. According to Eisley's A&R, Eisley is the most added band on college radio and that they're enjoying a kind of mini explosion...and he told me this morning he expected Room Noises to jump into the top 20 list:

PureVolume, MySpace, AOL, MTV,
Here's where my knowledge falls off. This has all happened - i guess while we were gone. I believe Eisley was on the front of myspace for a while, I saw that from the road. and... on Pure Volume - Markymark showed me something tonight, but I can't find it now. As for MTV.com - go to: http://www.mtv.com/music/video/ click the indie tab on the right. And as for AOL - this jpg shows something - guess they were on there: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/goatcheese/eisleyonaol.jpg

Anyway. It's probably stuff you guys already knew. I'm going to sleep.

Indeed, they are tearing up college radio for sure...at our station KWTS 91.1 FM in Canyon, Texas, they are also the top played song, and in the top 3 requests as well.

What we've predicted and perhaps waited for for so long[Eisley's e-mergal(which, by the way, can't possibly be a word)into the big business] is happening ... or perhaps about to happen.

It's exciting. Like ...

well, during the week they were on, they showed Oven Fresh a couple of times. one of the times they were #3 and then later in the week for the final voting, eisley was #1. i taped it when they were #3 and the first time they appeared on the show. so it wasn't really miscommunicated. they just kept moving up! yea!
