Is it pronounced "wownd" or "woond"? A friend and I are kinda confused about it and don't want to sound like complete fools because of it. Heh heh...? _________________ |It's my Xanga, kiddies.| |

Wow..interesting question. For some reason my brain never even came up with the idea that it might be "wownd". I have always said "woond". ..I wonder what this says about me? But now that I look at it I think "woond" sounds better..although "wownd" possibly makes more sense. _________________ -Brooke |

i have always thought of it as wownd. i can't think of any situation where saying brightly woond would be anything other than completely incorrect grammar. hence, brightly wownd. which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me but it is using the parts of speech correctly. then again, i could be way off. -nicole _________________ blog. check it. |

okay, this is my guess brightly wound...pronounced wownd tightly wound, like close together, connected, perhaps in love. brightly: vivid, interesting, eye catching, beautiful... so like...brightly wound = together in a beautiful way, beautifully together. That was my take on it. |

When someone is tightly wound, they are uptight .. so brightly wound would be the sensible alternative. _________________ « Last.FM ¤ Myspace ¤ Jacob Greene ¤ Art » |

I've heard it straight from their mouths: Wownd. There is this Texas is the Reason song. I'm not sure how they mean it, though. "Nickel Wound" But yeah, I love this song. It's Wow-nd. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

i must admit this is news to me... i always assumed it was brightly "woond", which made sense in terms of a wound that emanates light - it's not really a painful wound, you know, yada yada. it also made sense in terms of another sherri lyric on sunfeet where she talks about her head cracking open and flowers coming out. but i guess i was wrong. this makes sense and is refreshing. gonna go listen to it now! _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |
