hahah... yeah... it was weird when I first heard of them back in january.... me and friend were the second car to park in the lot and the third car was three girls screaming how much they were in love with Moss Eisley and then they started just chanting ZOR and PWN and stuff... I was intrigued by their diction.... being so similar to mine... but it seemed as if they were over doing it... and it hurt my feelings... so I had negative thoughts about the band before I heard them hehe... and even after the concert I didn't like them as much as I do now.... the oceanic rhythm to the music really makes me feel funny.... (In a good way) (to those of you who ask that question a lot) (*cough*) (bryan) (*cough*) ahh well... sorry... i've embarassed bryan... he'll get over it... ah well...... oh yeah... back to my thought... but yeah... some songs really grew and overwhelmed me in how I felt after I listened..... kind of consuming... i know...... i like to put faces in my story.... eek... sorry... *fans the cables so the stink doesn't spread across the world* I hope ppl enjoy reading this..... well... at least... my goal is for ppl to be able to finish my posts before becoming bored..... alright... will post a book next time.... anyone have a favorite they'd like me to type up? |

i liked them for two... maybe two and half years... actually two... just two i first heard them in the summer... so it was either two or three... but i don't think its been three... hmmm i bought their ep... stacy signed it! me and my friend jesse (not the merch girl jesse. nor jesse hale, a different jesse all together) had a one dollar bet on how good they would be since they used a star wars reference in their name... i won! go me! (by the way, i betted that they would be good. jesse said they would be lame, he was happy to lose though because he bought their ep and loved it... so all was good in the end) and wow... i spent a long freakin time answering a simple question... so yeah... two years... or maybe it was three... i don't know... |

I came on board just after the towhead era. I discovered them after reading a little blurb in Jammin Jim's gig guide about this band looking for places to play. So, I contacted them and they sent me a demo CD, and I was WOWed beyond words, so I booked them for a show (more than once too). _________________ This space intentionally left blank. |

the door show was (i think) with the screaming mimes. now they're called blisse. i think some band was supposed to headline but they canceled and the door didn't tell us... par for the course of jerk action for them. but they've been good to the duprees, so they maintain minimal respect points. _________________ rest in my arms sleep in my bed theres a design to what i did and said piccysssssss |

yeah.. letdown is right. me and cole apparently saw the towheads (or sinclair?) and didn't even know it. The screaming mimes played and parkway never showed up. The future of Good music was there that night. Little did we know. Our tastes in music have gotten better since then too... so.. there you have it. I saw moss eisley for the first time as moss eisley at living waters in grand prarie with uh.. spin490? I think. they became flying machine later. _________________ are you a member of the slaves to their members? |
