Sorry, that just had me laughing when I read a review that said they sounded like Abba. ROFL! Where do people come up with these ideas?

I never thought about it... I don't think so.

BUT Abba sounds like Abba and I love Abba Smile.

I don't really think Eisley sounds like anyone else.. Especially not Sixpence NTR.

I don't know...When I heard Over the Mountains a few years back, I could have sworn it was Sixpence. A crazy good Sixpence that was by far the best song by them yet.. Wink

lol. i was just watching the "Telescope Eyes " video again then the part where stacy and sherri are sitting on the floor came up and
"Dancing Queen " instanly poped in to my head because stacy is sitting with her face turned and sherri is looking towards the camera .kinda like the way ABBA used to sing anyway that made me laugh

But they had some of the best melodies and harmonies in existence.

I would not exist if ABBA had never existed!

Its true, ABBA had the best harmonies to date and Eialey comes close, but I have to go with my fav band of all time. There will never, ever be another group like ABBA.

They weren't that famous in America because they didn't get the airplay that other bands got. They have had so many number one hits (Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, SOS, Waterloo, Chiquitita, Voulez Vous) around the world that you can't count them.

Once again, their music is so unbelievably good I can't describe how great it is. Harmonies, catchy melodies, catchy guitar riffs, and catchy piano parts all describe the best music ever made (in my opinion and others).

I love them sooooooo much!!! They have repeatedly turned down a billion dollars to regroup and tour again, but it will never happen. BOO-HOO!

And no, Eisley doesn't sound like ABBA, and no, ABBA doesn't sound like Eisley. I love both groups so much. And that's not a bad thing that they don't sound like each other. I'm just stating my point.

And by the way, this is my opinion, I don't want to offend anyone. Every one is entitled to their opinion and their own taste in music, and ABBA is mine.

love ya'll on the board,

You forgot "Fernando". I've never before met anyone who owes their existence to ABBA. Neat.

Thanks, JD. You are very correct!

You are such a cool person. I also know another JD, but that one's a soccer nut.

You aren't a soccer nut, are you?

I don't think I qualify as any sort of sports nut. I am sort of a geek though.

yes! we always bust out the best of abba during family reunions.

i have this book called "the book of bunny suicides" and one of the comics is a bunny killing himself with an ABBA record. it's weird, yet amusing.
