I figured now that I have media, I'd whip up a quick sticky to quell the tide of excited fans getting home from the movies and immediately posting to eisleyblog about this really cool fact.

About half an hour into "Be Cool", the new movie with John Travolta and Uma Thurman directed by F. Gary Gray, Eisley's video for Marvelous Things can be seen prominently featured in the background of a 20-second scene in Nick Carr (Harvey Keitel)'s office.

Luke!

I love you! I forgot to go see the movie while it was in Tyler, so I just realized last night that I missed my opportunity to see it.

Thanks to you, I now know what everyone has been talking about! Smile

My mom loves John Travolta & Uma Thurman so when that movie comes out on DVD, I know she's going to buy it. I'll watch it until that scene, then go back to my room and watch the real video... sounds good.

But anyway, I thought movie people had to ask permission of the band before they put stuff like that in. Do you think they noticed it was playing Eisley when they filmed that TV? They should pay Eisley $500,000 for playing their clip; which made their movie 6.8 million times better Smile

Holy Shnikeys. I didn't think it was that long of a clip. And Eisley is almost the focus point of the whole scene. Nice.

I updated my post with a better quicktime clip, this time with no popping in the audio and such nastiness.

For those who want to know, the clip starts 33 minutes, 54 seconds into the movie Smile
