 Post subject: what images come to mind while listening to eisleyPosted: Mon Apr 11, 2005 1:44 am 
i saw this topic on another board and i wanted to know what images do come to mind when listening to eisley's music. this band, their music is incredibly imaginative, i'm not just talking about the lyrics but the music is just so active, so moving. when listening to them, i really imagine like i'm steady in the center of a tornado. i know it's weird but especially in their rocking moments, the guitars are so ferocious and the drums are galloping, there's no other way to describe it. like i'm just alone, hurricane above me and i'm not getting carried away by the wind but i'm affected nevertheless. god, i'm psychotic. how about you?

I guess I have different mental pictures for each song, depending on what strange things they might be talking about. I also picture the band just rockin out sometimes. And also, I think, "It must have been fun for them to write their songs." |

I think of meadows and flowers (specifically yellow ones, and i dont know why yellow it just is). I also think of clouds and anything tranquil in general. _________________

At first I pictured a big cult, in gowns, dancing and swaying in a field of buttercups with the sun shining bright. Then, I pictured faeries and everything of nature and mermaids and more people in gowns with more flowers.
