I've been wanting to see Eisley ever since I read their cover story in the Observer, hehe i even wrote a letter-to-the-editor after reading it, so Saturday I managed to get to the show at trees. I left pretty blown away. In the eight years i've been hanging around Deep Ellum and listening to various bands I have never seen or heard anything like Eisley. The band actually made the sound system at trees bearable which is a feat in its own right. I don't know their names but the girl on keyboards was really good as well as the other vocalist/guitarist. lol and the other guitarist who sang along with the songs as she played was great! The drummer and base player were really tight as well. btw, how about a couple of mp3's freely available on the website that we can put on P2P? it would help get your music to more ears. |
