Eisley is mentioned IN THE FIRST TWO PARAGRAPHS of the USA Today newspaper article on the Coachella festival! I dont remember how it went, something about Chauntelle saying "sorry guys, the heat is detuning my guitar" or something... Ill get the scan up tomorrow hopefully.. otherwise you could probably go to USAToday.com, go to the life section, and find the Coachella article. The article isnt about them or anything, but wow, to be mentioned in the opening section of an article in the USA today is pretty freakin sweet!

Thought you'd all like to know! I was really happy to see they got a little bit of recognition, the article mentioned about only 20 bands or so (out of 90) that were there, and Eisley was one of those 20 Smile

Sweet! That's some nice exposure. I guess something good came out of those technical problems.

I am having trouble comprehending the sun being so hot that it can be melting the guitar out of tune. If that happened to me, I'd be distraught. And that is definitely some very good exposure.

true that. but then the usa today article said the temp was in the high 80s. i would've thought it was hotter than that, especially if the sun was to detune guitars, cause heat strokes, and mysteriously sabotage sound equipment.

You know, when I hear "high 80's", I don't really think of "blistering heat" either. Perhaps it just seems hotter in a desert environment. I'm sure Eisley is used to some hot temps being from Texas and all.

Very true. I lived in Arizona until I was 10. I know what some blistering temperatures are. Like when it's 120 outside. The ground seems like it could burst into flames at any moment. Praise God for air conditioning.
