I think there was an austrian folk metal-rap band named moss eisley that they didn't want to get confused with.... _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=groelwyn |

OR the band didn't want to give george lucas the oppurtunity to sue them. so they nipped that in the bud _________________ there are many things you can be in life. lazy isn't one of them. www.xanga.com/just_a_pianoplayer |

FAQ on band name change i know. i saw them on tuesday night. they were wicked. was going to wear my eisley t-shirt as an ironic gesture but decided against it. so yeah they were good. not really the same genre though, unless eisley are taking a new punk-pop direction?! _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

Hmm, I dunno. I just went off what Boyd and them all said back at the name-changeover. I think there might even be more than one "Mos Eisley" band. Really I guess despite the genre, it could be confusing if both were to get popular, y'know? "Coming in at number ONE today: Moss Eisley! And at number two, Mos Eisley!" _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

lop, lop the moss... lop, lop the moss... plop.... eisley. I don't even want a vague connection backwards. eisley stands on it's own...it feels like something totally different. I surely don't want to identify with a punk band - though I'm sure they're hot or the venue made them seem hot. Juan. pm me when you have a chance. i have beek proposishun f'da- d'yoo. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
